Practical Erosion Control Field day with Agriculture Victoria - Tooborac

On Saturday 4th December from 2.00pm-4.00pm at Tooborac, Brad Costin from Ag Vic will be joining us in the paddock to discuss erosion management principles. Come prepared to join us in a practical exercise to manage small scale erosion, getting the hands on experience needed for your own property.

Irrigation webinar series: Goulburn inter-valley trade and Murray shortfall risks

On Tuesday 7th December from 1-2pm, Agriculture Victoria are hosting a webinar which will discuss the 2021-22 arrangements and implications for Goulburn inter-valley trade (IVT). An update will also be provided on the Murray delivery shortfall risks for this season

Compost and Cows: the effect of timed grazing and recycled organic waste on soil condition

On Wednesday 8th December from 12.30-1.30pm online, Jim Radford from the Research Centre for Future Landcares at La Trobe University who will talk about the project investigating the use of green waste compost and timed grazing on soil properties in dryland grazing systems.

Recognising and removing South African Weed Orchid
