GSSA Annual Conference - Changing climate, changing pastures

On Wednesday 11th August from 6.30pm-8.30pm, GSSA are hosting their third session for the conference. Regenerative Agriculture is looking into multispecies forages as alternatives to perennial ryegrass, what is regenerative agriculture, multispecies cover cropping in Vic and maximising the benefit of soil biology in pasture systems.

Healthy Hectares

Are you a new landholder or is someone who would like to understand more about their property? Healthy Hectares could be for you. A series of workshops designed to provide you with information about your property:

Agroforestry Seminar

On Saturday 14th August, 2021 from 10.30-3.00pm at the Ken Hall Pavilion, Kings Park, Tallarook St, Seymour, Seymour Agriculture and Pastoral Society are hosting an information day on Agroforestry with Rowan Reid. $10.00 per person

Farmer wants a field 

On Saturday 21st August from 9am-12pm, Upper Goulburn Landcare Network are hosting a field day in Alexandra discussing regenerative agriculture principles, practical grazing management, property planning and a hands-on cell grazing demonstration with local farmer, Daniel Kelton.

Diving into the world of Choughs and Noisy Minors

Join ANU from 12pm-1pm on August 27th online, as they will be diving into the world of Choughs and Noisy Minors. The luchtime session will focus on these species and boosting birds on farms. Ecologists will lead the discussion and presentation.
