GSSA Annual Conference - Changing climate, changing pastures

On Wednesday 4th August from 6.30pm-8.30pm, GSSA are hosting their second session for the conference. Changing Climate, changing pastures has Emeritus Professor Robert White, Ruairi McDonnell and Dr Belinda Hackney.

Healthy Hectares

Are you a new landholder or is someone who would like to understand more about their property? Healthy Hectares could be for you. A series of workshops designed to provide you with information about your property:

Friday 13th August - Water on Your Farm - 1pm-5pm at Yea Council Chambers

Saturday 11th September - Biodiversity and Pest Plant and Animals - 9.30am-1.30pm Taggerty Community Centre

Friday 8th October - Soils and Pasture - 1pm-5pm at Glenburn Hall

 

Agroforestry Seminar

On Saturday 14th August, 2021 from 10.30-3.00pm at the Ken Hall Pavilion, Kings Park, Tallarook St, Seymour, Seymour Agriculture and Pastoral Society are hosting an information day on Agroforestry with Rowan Reid. $10.00 per person

Farmer wants a field 

On Saturday 21st August from 9am-12pm, Upper Goulburn Landcare Network are hosting a field day in Alexandra discussing regenerative agriculture principles, practical grazing management, property planning and a hands-on cell grazing demonstration with local farmer, Daniel Kelton.

Diving into the world of Choughs and Noisy Minors

Join ANU from 12pm-1pm on August 27th online, as they will be diving into the world of Choughs and Noisy Minors. The luchtime session will focus on these species and boosting birds on farms. Ecologists will lead the discussion and presentation.
