Opportunity to increase farm natural resource management

Friday 3 January 2025
The Goulburn Broken CMA Nature Services for Ag project aims to support the Goulburn Broken Catchment’s agricultural productivity by improving natural resource management practices that increase natural capital and biodiversity on farms. Expressions of Interest from private landholders in the Goulburn Broken Catchment are now open and close on Monday 3 March.

The Goulburn Broken CMA has an opportunity for industry and community NRM groups to apply for a small grant through the Future Drought Fund Goulburn Drought Resilience Plan. This is funded by Agriculture Victoria, the Future Drought Fund and Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry.

Expressions of Interest are now open for not-for-profit groups/organisations that have an ABN, are incorporated, have public liability insurance for $20 million and are located in the project area.

The project guidelines provide further information on eligibility, criteria and the application process.

Projects are not to exceed $50,000 and need to be completed by 15 November, 2025.

For further information please contact Karen Brisbane-Bullock on 0409 955 396.

Send completed Expressions of Interest to karenb@gbcm.vic.gov.au

The closing date for Expressions of Interest is 5pm, Tuesday 11 February 2025.

Applicants will be notified in March 2025.
