Recognising the importance of the catchment's community in delivering natural resource management actvities a  Community NRM Action Plan 2013 - 2018 has been developed.

The plan's vision is:

As a motivated and enthusiastic community we will achieve sustainable and productive agriculture and protection and enhancement of the catchment’s natural resources.
