A free exhibition of Environmental programs and materials suitable for the classroom will be held this month in Acheron.

A free exhibition of Environmental programs and materials suitable for the classroom will be held this month in Acheron.

The Upper Goulburn Implementation Committee has organised the expo to focus attention on the many programs available to teachers, making them more accessible by presenting them in one place.

The EnviroEd targets teachers, curriculum builders and other educators across the upper Goulburn catchment and surrounding Shire areas.

Exhibitors will show their latest materials and interactive programs in a formal exhibition setting and EnviroEd visitors will be able to try, and sample, a variety of materials that will assist them in the classroom.

An interactive computer corner will be available to trial CDs and DVDs.

The Departments of Sustainability & Environment and Primary Industries will conduct free workshops on their environmental education programs during the afternoon.

The Exhibition date is Friday July 21st July between 12 midday and 7pm at Stonelea Resort, Maroondah Highway, Acheron.

While the event has no entry charge, teachers and visitors are advised to register their intention to attend this unique and important exhibition.
