This review of current scientific evidence relates to the conservation and management of grassy woodlands and grasslands in Australia. Particular focus is on the communities Northern Plains Grassland, Grey Box-Buloke Grassy Woodlands and Box-Gum Grassy Woodland and Derived Grasslands. It provides more detailed information than that contained in the Community Fact Sheets and is intended as a reference to guide land managers when making management decisions.

Action Statement

This Action Statement has been prepared as a requirement under the FFG Act 1998. It addresses five lowland grassland or grassy woodland communities including Central Gippsland Plains Grassland, Forest Red Gum Grassy Woodland, Northern Plains Grassland, South Gippsland Plains Grassland and Western (Basalt) Plains Grassland.
