The Goulburn Broken CMA is working closely with the community to deliver direct on ground riparian improvement works targeting streams flowing from the Strathbogie Ranges.
The four-year Strathbogie Streams Program started in 2016/17, receiving funding through the Victorian Government’s Securing Priority Waterways program. Landholders can access grants for works such as stock fencing, revegetation and management of exotic vegetation to improve the health of waterways within the Strathbogie Ranges.
Several of these project streams are highly valued for the populations of native fish present and include the following:
Merton and Brankeet Creeks
Other creeks supported within the region are:
Creighton’s and Pranjip Creeks
Lima East & Five Mile Creeks
