Dung Beetle Project

Last spring a handful of dairy and beef farmers within the (SIR) were asked to participate in a Dung Beetle project. Ten lucky farmers from Cobram to Lockington, whose soil types and irrigation practices where suited to the project, were selected. The farming types included 8 dairy farms with herds up to 500 head of cattle and two beef properties with herd numbers around the 200. And so 12 months on....here's an update.
