Soil workshops

Learn about soils, soils health and soil testing at workshops being held in Strathbogie, Yea and Tatura.

Bring along your soil test results - Dr Cassandra Schefe will lead each soil workshop and explain the importance of soil testing and options to address soil health issues indicated in your results.

Topics include:

  • Understand your soil test results;
  • Make informed decisions regarding fertilizer and lime use;
  • The importance of taking soil tests e.g., can save money, soil health, monitor carbon;
  • Understand acidic soils and methods to improve pasture growth.

YEA: Wednesday 15 February 2023, 9am – 1pm.. TATURA: Thursday 2 March 2023, 10am – 2pm.
