SHEPPARTON IRRIGATION REGION FORUM (SIRF) VACANCIES

Wednesday 16 April, 2025
The Goulburn Broken Catchment Management Authority (GB CMA) is now seeking nominations from community members to fill current vacancies on the Shepparton Irrigation Region Forum (SIRF).

SIRF is a community-based advisory group that provides advice and feedback to the GB CMA and government. It offers valuable community input and perspectives on the delivery of the recently renewed Shepparton Irrigation Region Land and Water Management Plan.

The GB CMA is responsible for protecting and enhancing the region’s natural resources. This includes overseeing the management of land and water across the catchment, which stretches from Marysville to the Murray River.

Together with the community and its partners, the GB CMA is charged with improving the health and resilience of the catchment’s landscapes. Healthy landscapes are crucial to supporting the region's diverse and changing communities.

Community members interested in a four-year term are encouraged to apply.   Applications close 5pm, Monday 19 May.

For more information and an application form please call Megan McFarlane on 58 227700.
