Kilmore Creek Fish Survey Demonstration

Saturday 13 May, 2023
10:00 AM-12:00 PM
Location: Kilmore Creek adjoining Patrick Street, behind Kilmore Library

Meet us on the creek adjoining Patrick Street, behind the Kilmore Library, to learn how and why fish populations are monitored.

See an electrofishing demonstration and discover what species of fish call the Kilmore Creek home.

Join us for a short stroll along the creek to investigate the fish populations present and the type of habitat they utilise.

Following the demonstration, there will be an opportunity to get your hands dirty helping to improve stream condition by planting native seedlings.

Note: If it is raining on the day, the event will be cancelled.

Please email christineg@gbcma.vic.gov.au and be notified of any event changes due to weather.
