Join the South West Goulburn Landcare Network for a social and informative afternoon at Mt Piper.
After having lunch and catching up with the locals nearby, ecologist Peter Mitchell will guide us through the Mt Piper Nature Reserve, talking about geology, native animals, vegetation and wildflowers.
During the walk Ian Davidson will show us how to use the COVRAM app, which he has created with a small team.
The app is designed for vegetation management and monitoring and allows land managers and landowners alike to assess any site on their property without the need of complex, specialistic knowledge.
The app is free to use and we recommend you to download it from the App Store or Google Play before you come to the workshop.
The workshop will be interactive and you will get the chance to ask lots of questions and learn how to use a valuable monitoring tool.
This event is supported by the Goulburn Broken CMA through funding from the Victorian Governments Victorian Landcare Grants. Event organised by South West Goulburn Landcare Network.
