Community Film Screening: ''We Don't Need A Map''

Tuesday 24 June, 2025
5:30 PM-7:30 PM
Location: University of Melbourne, Shepparton Campus, Graham Street

The Goulburn Broken CMA is a proud partner and sponsor of a film night coming up next Tues 24th June in Shepparton. The community screening of “We don’t need a map” is an initiative of a recently-formed Reconciliation Collective in the Shepparton region, of which the Goulburn Broken CMA is a member. On the back of National Reconciliation Week, the film presents a thought-provoking ride through Australia’s cultural and political landscape with a focus on the place of the Southern Cross in the Australian psyche.  The film was part of NITV’s Moment in History initiative which brought together some of Australia’s most experienced and innovate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander filmmakers to create powerful documentaries that reflect on the place of Indigenous Australians today.
