Biodiversity Monitoring Action Plan (BMAP)

The BMAP guides monitoring and research needs of the GBCMA, assists in tracking the Catchment’s progress towards the Resource Condition Targets (RCTs), and helps inform decision making relating to review, evaluation and development of projects.

Monitoring has long been identified as an important activity for the GB CMA Biodiversity Program. Monitoring assists in tracking the Catchment's progress towards the Resource Condition Targets (RCTs) and helps inform decision making relating to review, evaluation and development of projects. As a result, this Monitoring Action Plan for Biodiversity was first developed in 2006 and continues to be a dynamic document for recording and updating assumptions about progress towards targets and identifying priorities for monitoring and research.
