Program to focus on farming near rivers 2005-3-14
A chance for landholders along the Broken River to get together with river managers and researchers and share their knowledge and experiences of living and farming on the river will happen on Thursday, March 17.
The program will include presentations on fencing and grazing on river frontage and floodplains, native fish, wetlands and billabongs.
It will be held from 10 am to 1 pm at the property of Peter and Lorraine Ryan, "Caniambo Lodge", 1910 Midland Hwy, Pine Lodge South.
Heading east from Shepparton, the property is on the right 3 km past Pine Lodge cemetery.
Lunch, tea and coffee will be provided.
