Fish
A total of 13 native freshwater fish species have been recorded in the Broken River system. Seven alien or introduced fish species, including carp and redfin, have also been recorded. The Broken River between Broken Weir and the Goulburn River is of particular importance for key native species such as Murray cod and Golden Perch.
