Round 2 of the Carbon + Biodiversity Pilot now open! Now Aussie farmers in 6 new eligible NRM regions can apply.
The pilot is part of the Australian Government’s Agriculture Biodiversity Stewardship Package, where farmers receive payment for plantings that deliver biodiversity and carbon abatement. It’s part of their work to develop a voluntary biodiversity market.
Goulburn Broken CMA are the local NRM partner helping the government to implement the pilot in our region, helping to ensure it works for our landholders.
Enquiries about the program can be directed to the Department of Agriculture, Water and Environment at agstewardship@awe.gov.au or you can call them at 1800 329 055.
