What has water for the environment achieved?

Reflections is a Victorian Environmental Water Holder publication that outlines the outcomes and achievements in the watering year across the river and wetland systems of Victoria. Copies of Reflections are available for download from the VEWH website.

Between 2014/15 to 2018/19  the Commonwealth Environmental Water Office funded the Long Term Intervention Monitoring Project across seven areas of the Murray-Darling Basin, including the lower Goulburn River. The full monitoring reports for each year can be found here. The CEWO-funded Monitoring, Evaluation and Research (MER) Program integrates and replaces the Long Term Intervention Monitoring Project.

The Goulburn Broken CMA acknowledges and respects First Nations people and the deep connection they have with their land and waters.

We acknowledge the Yorta Yorta and Taungurung people and their ancestors/forbears as Traditional Owners of the land and waters in the Goulburn Broken Catchment (and beyond). We value our ongoing partnerships with Yorta Yorta Nation Aboriginal Corporation and Taungurung Land and Waters Council for the health of Country and its people.

We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging and acknowledge and recognise the primacy of Traditional Owners obligations, rights and responsibilities to use and care for their traditional lands and waters.
