Making a wildlife friendly dam and Powerful Owl information workshop

Come and hear how locals has created wildlife friendly dam by:

- Building artificial islands using second-hand materials

- Adding sites for wildlife to use around the dam for roosting or nesting

- Planting native plants (plants will be available for sale on the day) which provide food sources, habitat, and nesting sites for native animals.

Powerful Owls

Powerful Owls are mystical creatures that live in our area, and we often do not see them. Learn ways to identify these large birds from their scats (faecal matter), the vocalisations they make and the best times to see them.
