9:00 AM-3:30 PM
Location: Country Club Hotel, 18 High street, Yea

Yea River Catchment Landcare Group presents this workshop:

Globally, as countries commit to carbon neutral targets, agriculture is in the spotlight as both a contributor to emissions, and a solution for carbon drawdown. This forum will present information about the global scene, market pull, opportunities for productivity improvements and practical insights into what local farmers are doing.

Presenters: Simon Quilty - Global AgriTrends & Churchill Fellow on Carbon in agriculture - case studies from around the globe; Chris Taarnby from Elders - Carbon Farming inside the farm gate and Greg Ferrier - on the on-farm emissions action plan pilot and how farmers are taking action locally and how you can participate; plus a Farmer Discussion Panel.

Bookings: https://forms.office.com/r/uj9XYR6Hdv by 9th November or contact Rhiannon Sandford yeariversecretary@outlook.com or 0405 104 714.
