Applying for Flood Advice

Prior to applying for a planning permit with your local municipal council, flood advice can be obtained directly from the Goulburn Broken CMA by submitting a completed application form (below) with a processing fee. The Goulburn Broken CMA will provide flood advice in writing.

Please Note: Due to the current flooding event occuring throughout parts of the catchment and the redirection of staffing resources, Premium Service applicatiions are unable to be processed within the 3 Full Business Day Timeframe. Requests for Standard Floodplain Advice Applications will still be prcessed within the normal timeframe of up to 28 days.

Premium Service Flood Advice applications will resume from Monday 15th January 2024.

If your application is in relation to a Social Housing Project, a Not for Profit (Charity) Community Project or Flood Recovery request, please contact the GB CMA at planning@gbcma.vic.gov.au prior to submitting your application for Flood Advice.
