The Goulburn Broken CMA is excited to offer an opportunity to join our successful, friendly Natural Resource Management (NRM) organisation.

We have an exciting 12-month opportunity to join the Goulburn Broken CMA Board in a development role, which will enable you to build your skills and experience and will prepare you to apply for future board positions.

Previous board experience is not a requirement. We will provide development opportunities and support through, training, induction, mentoring, delegate networking, experience and observation.

We are looking for someone to bring unique, independent insights to our Board.

The role requires an average of 2 days per month. This is made up of monthly meeting attendance, preparation and reading for Board meetings, participation in Board meetings and planning/workshops, CMA events, as well as other learning and development opportunities.

As this is a development role the delegate is not appointed to the board by the Minister under an Act. This role is to gain experience, provide insight and to help build pathways to future board appointments. The delegate will not have a formal decision-making role on the board or voting rights.

This is an Aboriginal Designated Position, classified under the special measures of section 12 of the Equal Opportunity Act 2010. Only Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people are eligible to apply.
