Advisory Group set up for CMA’s Sustainable Irrigation Program

An Advisory Group of community representatives has been established to provide informed comment on the delivery of the Goulburn Broken Catchment Management Authority's Sustainable Irrigation Program. The role of the group is to provide community perspective and feedback on issues relating to irrigation and natural resource management in the Goulburn Broken catchment.
The Sustainable Irrigation Program Advisory Group (SIPAG) community members are: Helen Reynolds (Chair), Heather du Vallon (deputy Chair), Roger Wrigley, Allen Canobie, Nick Ryan, Wendy Buck, Barry Croke and Murray McDonald.
The Sustainable Irrigation Program is one of three major programs delivering the Goulburn Broken Regional Catchment Strategy in northern Victoria. The Advisory Group consists of nine community representatives and four staff from agencies: Department of Primary Industries, Goulburn-Murray Water, Department of Sustainability and Environment, and the Goulburn Broken Catchment Management Authority.
The Sustainable Irrigation Program is funded and supported by the Australian and Victorian governments and is delivered through agency partners including Department of Primary Industries, Goulburn-Murray Water, local government, and other bodies.
