- Protection and Enhancement of Existing Flora and Fauna
- Agriculture
- Eco-tourism

Achievements:
- In Nov/Dec 2003 held two successful “Wet, Wild and Wasted” Environmental Education Days with local primary and secondary students.
- Successfully obtained enviro-funds to complete a project entitled “Enhance and protect the Broken Creek through community participation.” Red Gum picnic tables have already been erected at weir sites along the creek and a self guided interpretive drive is currently in draft stage. Revegetation works, and fencing of areas of significant vegetation will continue this year, as will the community education program.
- Nathalia LAP member represented on the Broken Boosey State Park Advisory Group to provide community input and feedback information as required.
- Participation in the Dairy Stewardship Project.
Priorities for the future:
- Continue to implement the “Enhance and protect the Broken Creek through community participation” project, particularly the revegetation works and community education.
- Hold nutrient management and automatic irrigation field days.
- Continue to support efforts to fence off and protect the Broken Creek from stock access.
- Produce maps which highlight environmental features/projects in the area through becoming involved in Bio-diversity Action Planning/Landscape Preferencing works.
