Functions of the Implementation Committee
The Implementation Committee shall exercise its functions which have been specified by the Board and are:
- To negotiate an annual Business Plan with the Board, in accordance with the Regional Management Plan Guidelines.
- To address natural resource management issues and be involved in the development of a sub-catchment strategy for the implementation of relevant catchment management programs.
- To support and participate in partnerships with agencies and local government for developing and implementing the Regional Catchment Investment Plan and Regional Management Plan.
- To prioritise and provide comments for works programs in the area represented including participating in the preparation of works programs where appropriate.
- To develop communication strategies and participate in communication between the authority and the public.
- To monitor implementation performance in the relevant area.
- To prepare an annual report.
- To provide advice to the Board on CMA Policy, the Catchment Strategy and resource management objectives.
