EoI Process, Regional Guidelines, and Priorities
The Goulburn Broken CMA aims to reduce the administrative burden on our regional community groups and partners through the Expression of Interest (EOI) process.
1. EOI call for projects
The Goulburn Broken CMA aims to reduce the administrative burden on our regional community groups and partners through the Expression of Interest (EOI) process. A general call for projects is likely to be made in late 2013 for Expressions of Interest (EOI) for natural resource management projects across the Goulburn Broken region for 2014-15 funding.
Groups will need to fill in a 5 page form (including a 1 page checklist), for projects proposed to be run during the following financial year.
The 2013-14 call for projects closed on Friday 14th December 2012 at 5pm. An electronic version of the EOI form used in 2013-14 is available below:
| EOI_2013-14_Form.doc |

Other types of funding are also available to support natural resource management activities in the Goulburn Broken, however applicants should be aware that some of these do require additional application forms. This includes grant programs such as The Norman Wettenhall Foundation, Strengthening Communities, Junior Landcare, and Community Education and Awareness Grants (see Types of Funding Section for more for more details).
Before Writing Your Application groups must:
- Read the Regional EOI Guidelines (will be updated in late 2013)
- Contact the relevant Program Manager (see Priorities Document - will be updated in late 2013) to discuss their project proposal
- Be aware of and understand:
- Priorities within their Priorities Document
- Application Assessment Criteria
- Project Agreement and Reporting Obligations
NB: Applicants should also be aware that incentives for on-ground works such as fencing and revegetation are available for individual landowners, through the Goulburn Broken Environmental Management Incentives and Waterways Incentives programs. Projects that meet the criteria of these incentives are less likely to be funded through other sources.
