Community Education Grants

The Broken Goulburn Implementation Committee Community Education Grants support community education and awareness of environment related catchment issues.

The grants of up to $4,000 are provided to non-profit community groups and schools to assist them to promote catchment issues within their community.

Examples of past projects include:

New and innovative projects in catchment education are highly desirable and priority is given to projects that have wide community benefit and widespread promotion of catchment issues. Projects that develop partnerships between groups and the GB CMA are encouraged.

The Community Education Grants open in June and close at the end of July. Successful applicants are notified by October.

Current Round

The 2009/10 round closes on Friday 31st July.
