Climate Change Forum
The Goulburn Broken CMA in conjunction with the Department of Primary Industries held a Forum on Agriculture and Climate Change in the Goulburn Region on Tuesday 2nd June 2009.
The aim of the forum was to:
- Provide you with some insights into Australia's changing climate.
- Update you on the Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme and emissions trading and their implications for agriculture.
- Discuss adaptation strategies for the dairy and horticulture industries.
- Discuss formation of a Hume Region Climate Change Network and other information needs around climate change.
