The Vision Statement and Mission Statement of the Goulburn Broken Catchment Management Authority.
2009-10 to 2012-13
Situated in northern Victoria and part of the Murray Darling Basin, The Goulburn Broken Catchment comprises the catchments of the Goulburn and Broken rivers and part of the Murray River valley.
The Statement of Obligations are issued under the Catchment & Land Protection Act 1994 and Water Act 1989 and relates to existing functions and responsibilities of Catchment Management Authorities under the CaLP and Water Acts as well as associated Government policy.
The Goulburn Broken Regional Catchment Strategy (RCS) provides the primary integrated strategic framework for managing land, water and biodiversity in the Goulburn Broken Region.

The Board members of the Authority are responsible for the effective management of natural resources in the Catchment.
